Key Responsibilities
We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Load Balancer Engineer to lead and support complex enterprise infrastructure initiatives involving load balancing systems, cloud integrations, and network technologies.
This role is responsible for the planning, installation, configuration, testing, implementation, and ongoing management of core load balancing hardware and software systems that support enterprise IT architecture and business operations.

Lead the design, implementation, and support of enterprise load balancing solutions

Install, configure, and maintain F5 Local Traffic Manager (LTM) and Global Traffic Manager (GTM) environments

Configure virtual servers, pools, pool members, nodes, monitors, and iRules

Support load balancing environments across cloud platforms including AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud Platform (GCP), and IBM Cloud

Plan and execute system upgrades with minimal downtime

Perform health checks and proactively monitor system performance

Troubleshoot and analyze issues reported by internal and external teams, providing technical recommendations

Collaborate with application teams and customers to validate system changes

Migrate physical F5 environments to virtual or cloud-based load balancers

Evaluate emerging application and infrastructure technologies

Ensure security patches and updates are applied regularly
Required Skills:

In-depth expertise with F5 VIPRION LTM and GTM systems

Experience with virtual F5 environments and migration from physical to virtual/cloud-based load balancers

Strong knowledge of global and local load balancing concepts

Experience with SSL acceleration, HTTP compression, caching, and DNS

Familiarity with VMware environments across major cloud providers (AWS, Azure, GCP, IBM Cloud)
Experience Requirements

Minimum three (3) years of experience configuring, implementing, and troubleshooting F5 VIPRION-based load balancing solutions in enterprise environments

Minimum three (3) years of experience as a Network Administrator working with Cisco network equipment in enterprise environments

Minimum two (2) years of experience implementing and troubleshooting cloud-based load balancers, servers, and network systems
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Engineering, or related field
(Additional qualifying experience may substitute for education on a year-for-year basis.)
