Project Manager - EPIC

Position Overview

We are seeking a Project Manager to join a high-impact initiative with a leading healthcare organization. This is an ideal opportunity for experienced professionals ready to oversee the implementation of Service Authorizations, SSO integration with Navitus, Pharmacy Claims Import for Patient Access, and the corresponding updates to all downstream integrations and reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

– Collaborate with cross-functional teams on the build, design, and optimization of the Epic Radiant module.

– Configure and maintain the Epic Radiant system in alignment with organizational workflows and clinical needs.

– Participate in design sessions, workflow assessments, validation activities, and go-live support.

– Analyze and translate business requirements into effective technical solutions.

– Perform thorough testing and provide end-user training as needed.

Required Skills & Abilities

– Proven experience leading complex, large scale Epic implementation and/or upgrade projects
– Experience using Epic resources and tools – Orion, Galaxy, Nova and Sherlock to coordinate project activities
– Ability to manage the scope, cost, schedule and quality of the project
– Ability to develop and maintain project plans and documentation (charter, requirements, project timelines/schedules, communication, risk, and change management plans)
– Ability to work with resource managers to ensure resource availability and effectively manage allocated resources across project priorities
– Ability to evaluate project progress on a regular basis and prioritize any dependencies issues, and risks
– Ability to communicate effectively with business leaders and drive informed decision making
– Strong organizational and leadership skills with a track record for timely delivery
– Proficiency using MS Office Suite, specifically MS Project, Visio, and SharePoint
– Project management experience running large scale projects in a health plan (health insurance) and/or managed care setting
– Previous Epic implementation experience for a health plan, preferably for Epic Tapestry
– Familiarity with health plan/managed care operations and high-level workflows
– Prerequisite training with Epic – Overview of Implementation course
– Previous experience in the Epic Implementation Director role as defined by Epic
