Key Responsibilities
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Load Balancer Engineer to lead and support complex IT infrastructure projects. This role is responsible for planning, installing, configuring, testing, implementing, and managing core system hardware and software to meet organizational IT architecture and business needs.
The Senior Load Balancer Engineer will maintain and support F5 Load Balancers, including installation, configuration, and management of F5 Local Traffic Manager (LTM) and Global Traffic Manager (GTM) functions. Responsibilities include creating virtual servers, pools/pool members, nodes, monitors, and iRules, as well as providing load balancing support across cloud service providers such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud Platform, and IBM Cloud.
You will work closely with internal teams and customers to analyze issues, implement solutions, plan and design system architecture, and perform upgrades and maintenance with minimal downtime. The role also involves evaluating new software technologies and ensuring security products are patched regularly.
Key Responsibilities:

Install, configure, and maintain F5 LTM and GTM load balancers.

Manage cloud-based load balancers and infrastructure on AWS, Azure, GCP, and IBM Cloud.

Monitor system health and make necessary adjustments or improvements.

Analyze and resolve issues reported by internal and external teams.

Plan and implement system upgrades with minimal downtime.

Design and evaluate system architecture and new software technologies.

Ensure security and patch management for all systems.

Required Skills:
-
In-depth knowledge of F5 VIPRION LTM and GTM systems, including virtual and cloud-based load balancers.

Experience with global and local load balancing, SSL acceleration, HTTP compression/caching, and DNS.

Minimum 3 years of experience configuring, implementing, and troubleshooting F5 VIPRION solutions in enterprise environments.

Minimum 3 years of experience as a network administrator using Cisco network equipment in enterprise environments.

Minimum 2 years of experience with cloud-based load balancers, servers, and network systems in enterprise environments.

Experience with VMware ARVI across cloud providers.
Education:
-
Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Engineering, or a related field.

Additional qualifying experience may substitute for the required education on a year-for-year basis.
