Key Responsibilities
We are seeking an experienced Linux System Administrator to support and manage enterprise computing and infrastructure systems across private and public cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP).
This role is responsible for administering, securing, monitoring, and optimizing Linux-based systems while ensuring high availability, operational security, and performance across multiple computing and storage platforms. The ideal candidate brings strong troubleshooting skills, automation experience, and deep expertise in enterprise Linux environments.

Administer and support Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL), Ubuntu, CentOS, SUSE, and Debian environments

Manage Linux server instances across private and public clouds (AWS, Azure, GCP)

Maintain system availability for network, storage, compute, and software systems

Develop and maintain technical documentation, specifications, and operational procedures

Perform patch planning, vulnerability assessments, patch testing, and quarterly security patch implementation

Conduct proactive performance monitoring, tuning, reporting, and capacity planning

Troubleshoot and resolve complex operating system issues in accordance with organizational standards

Manage data center operations while maintaining strict security compliance

Implement and enforce the latest security policies and procedures

Coordinate and execute approved system changes during maintenance windows

Participate in a 24×7 on-call rotation

Collaborate closely with System Administrators, Developers, Application Engineers, Cybersecurity professionals, and Operations teams

Experience Requirements

Minimum 7 years of experience administering RHEL, CentOS, Ubuntu, SUSE, and Debian

Minimum 4 years of experience developing automation using Ansible, Shell scripting, and Python

Experience implementing automation for complex operational and administrative processes

Experience with security and threat mitigation tools (McAfee, Cisco AMP, Nessus/Tenable, Tanium, Dell Secureworks Red Cloak)

Experience with VMware, vCenter, and ESXi
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Engineering, or related field
(Additional qualifying experience may substitute for education on a year-for-year basis.)
